Arthur Ross Memorial National Handicap FinalsCongratulations to Magnus McGee (United) who reached the semi-finals of the 2006/7 Arthur Ross National Handicap finals in Wellington. Gilman Day (Beginner's tournament/fun-day)Edgeware Croquet Club hosted the 37th Gilman day on 3 March, with 18 competitors playing Association Croquet.There were 4 rounds of 45 minute games played on small lawns, with each contestant having a bye. The standard of play was a great credit to all of these new players and their coaches. Results: Southern Premier Silver Badge Tournament (Association Croquet)Congratulations to Paddy Chapman (Cashmere/United) who won the Southern Premier Silver Badge tournament which was held at the United Croquet Club on Saturday 10 March. Paddy beat John Prince 3-1 in a best-of-5 match, with John taking the first, and Paddy having triple peel wins in the next three.Results, coaching and other information

Canterbury Croquet Association Tournament ResultsInterprovincial TournamentThe Interprovincial Tournament between Canterbury and South Canterbury was held in Ashburton on 14th January. A good time was had by all with both teams claiming moral victories as Canterbury won 13.5 games to 12.5, but South Canterbury won 479 points to 463. Many thanks to everybody who took part, and to the Waireka and Allenton clubs for hosting the event.South Island Teams EventUnfortunately this even was cancelled since after Otago withdrew the only two teams to have entered were South Canterbury and Canterbury.
