New Zealand Doubles Championship
Winners: Chris Clarke and Jenny Williams
Runners-up: Paddy Chapman and Greg Bryant (Nelson)

The final was a very hard-fought and high-quality contest between AJ, competing in his first major final, and Chris. Each game went with the toss, with AJ having two 3rd turn breaks to 4-back and Chris winning the 5th game with a 5th turn triple peel to take the match 3-2.
