Profile

Hornby Club, situated on the southwest fringe of Christchurch City at the Hornby Domain is a small club by city standards with some 18 members. It has a relaxed rural atmosphere and very much a DIY culture. While it is competitive in that it participates in the Provincial tournaments it believes that there is more to a sporting club than competition. It recognises that the health and social benefits and the fun ro be derived from communal activities are of the utmost importance and are to be fostered.
Subscriptions compare more than favourably with most other outdoor sports and Hornby Club gives a concession when two members of a family are club members.
Spectators and prospective members are always welcome.
