South Brighton Croquet Club

South Brighton's lawns suffered damage as a result of the 2011 earthquakes and much of the area is unplayable and unlikely to be remediated. The club plans to close at the end of the 2011/12 season.
The part of the lawn which is playable is very wet at the moment and the grass is long, making play difficult. With few members, the Club's future is in doubt.

Location:

The South Brighton Croquet Club is found down a pathway off Estuary Road (a continuation of Owls Terrace from the Pages road bridge over the Avon River). The pathway is between two house properties opposite the corner with Shackleton Street.
