This form of the game was developed in Egypt where
it is still played, although it is now played internationally. The
name comes from the way the game is played.
Players try to get a ball through the first hoop, and as soon as
someone succeeds, then all players try to get their ball through
the next hoop. An important part of the tactics of the game is to
get in front of other players and block them from getting in front
of the hoop, or to knock their balls away.
Each time a player gets a ball through a hoop, they score a point.
Games can be the best of 7, 13, or 19 points. |

The game can be learned very quickly, and club games will usually
take 30-40 minutes to play. It has thus become very popular in recent
times.
